Here's the "Slumdog" kids getting inteviewed on the red carpet.
It's so sad that they have to go back to their country after this... many of them still live in the slums in Mumbai and are incredibly poor. The filmmakers paid them a lot of money and have set up an education fund for them, but their poverty is so severe that they might never get out of the slums. Angelina and Brad should just adopt all of them right now!

That's absolutely heartbreaking. It really does make you wonder what would have been better? To use these children from the slums or to use established child actors? Who knows what will come of these children.
