Here's the trailer for the new Judd Apatow movie, "Funny People".
Umm, it looks really different and grown up! "Knocked Up" was a lot more grown up than "The 40 Year-Old Virgin", but this one looks like "The Reader" compared to "Knocked Up". I'm really torn about Adam Sandler being in this movie, too. I HATE Adam Sandler so much, but he was college roomates with Apatow (and I just saw his excellent work in "Punch Drunk Love") so maybe I should just forgive Sandler and try to enjoy his performance. And I'm excited about Jason Schwartzman rejoining the Apatow team (he was in an episode of "Freaks and Geeks" and made a cameo in "Walk Hard"). MAX FISCHER!
Here's hoping they're saving the funny parts for the movie!

Here's the trailer for Seth Rogen's new film, "Observe and Report".
It's unfortunate that that piece of crap "Paul Blart: Mall Cop" just came out because I think this movie looks really great! It's definitely a lot darker than I thought it would be... it looks like "Taxi Driver"! I'm really excited for this movie. And check out the Landry (from "Friday Night Lights") sighting at 1:55!

And here's the trailer for Paul Rudd's new movie, "I Love You, Man".
This looks really funny too. I love the cast (Paul Rudd, Rashida Jones, Andy Samberg, Jason Segel, Lt. Dangle) and it's going to be a good time at the movies.

On another Apatow note (I'm an Apatow super-fan), here's the short film he made for last night's Oscar telecast. He brought back the "Pineapple Express" guys and made fun of some of the nominated movies. I loved it!
