Paste's Top 50 of 2008

Here's Paste's best albums of 2008. I'm not familiar with Paste magazine, but I assume from looking at this list that they're really championing the bearded flannel folk rock revival (?) of Fleet Foxes and the like. Whatever... it's alright music and everything, but it's just so samey and unimportant. And She & Him released the best record this year? BORING! Give me a break... that record isn't spectacular in any way. Music must be in a pretty bad lull if She & Him is the best we can do this year.
